Heathcote on Show - Queens Birthday Long Weekend

Saturday 9th June - Monday 11th June

Nestled in the heart of Heathcote, our recently landscaped estate and terrace offers a spectacular backdrop for enjoying superb wines and gourmet food. Drop in for an informal yet educational chat and wine tasting with Winemaker Mark and while you’re there enjoy a bite from the all day BBQ menu or linger longer at the pre-ticketed Gourmet BBQ Buffet Lunch (inc. tea, coffee and sweet treat) with highly sought after regional chef Monsieur Pierre. Lunches can be enjoyed outside overlooking the vines of our beautiful property or among oak barrels on the cosy heated floor of our barrel room.

Enjoy tastings from our 5 star James Halliday rated winery including Shiraz, Cabernet Blend, Tempranillo, Chardonnay and Rosé.

10am to 5pm FREE Winery tours

Sanguine Estate is a 100% gravity fed winery. Learn how winemaker Mark makes the Sanguine Estate suite of wines. Just ask us when you arrive and we’ll show you around.

11am to 3pm $28 per head Gourmet BBQ lunch

Deliciously prepared by regional chef Monsieur Pierre of Kyneton. All day menu items also available and can be purchased on the day.

Heathcote Food & Wine Festival

Saturday & Sunday, 8th - 9th October, 2011

Where else can you taste Heathcote wines from over 50 producers, as well as regional foods and produce in one central location over one great weekend? In Heathcote, Victoria's Heartland, at the Heathcote wine region's wine and food festival, held at the Heathcote Showgrounds.

With the much anticipated release of the 2012 Australian Wine Companion, Sanguine became a 5 star rated winery and received reviews between 92-95/100 for the 8 red wines submitted. To celebrate, Sanguine offered special promotions at the Heathcote on Show festival, opportunities to win and private vertical tasting Masterclasses in their marquee this year. “Educating people on how long to age our wines is always popular and there is no better wine to do this with than the past 4 vintages of “Estate” Shiraz, our original wine from over a decade ago” Jodi explained..

leading emerging musicians in their hugely successful Australian Launch Concert.

The event was a sell out, but 20 of our VIP customers were lucky to secure free tickets and were treated to exclusive Sanguine tastings on arrival followed by an evening of what can only be described as some of the most beautiful music.
