Heathcote Food & Wine Festival

Saturday & Sunday, 8th - 9th October, 2011

 

Where else can you taste Heathcote wines from over 50 producers, as well as regional foods and produce in one central location over one great weekend? In Heathcote, Victoria's Heartland, at the Heathcote wine region's wine and food festival, held at the Heathcote Showgrounds.

 

With the much anticipated release of the 2012 Australian Wine Companion, Sanguine became a 5 star rated winery and received reviews between 92-95/100 for the 8 red wines submitted. To celebrate, Sanguine offered special promotions at the Heathcote on Show festival, opportunities to win and private vertical tasting Masterclasses in their marquee this year. “Educating people on how long to age our wines is always popular and there is no better wine to do this with than the past 4 vintages of “Estate” Shiraz, our original wine from over a decade ago” Jodi explained..

Exclusive to past “D’Orsa Release Dinner” guests, these intimate evenings with the Sanguine Estate winemaker and family included a superbly matched 4 course meal complimented by Sanguine Estate wines. There was also a unique opportunity to revisit or sample some our previous vintage wines. A wonderful evenening was had by all with some guests already asking when is the next one?

Melbourne Piano Trio

 

Sanguine Estate was proud to be a sponsor of this fresh new trio bringing together three of Australia's
leading emerging musicians in their hugely successful Australian Launch Concert.

 

The event was a sell out, but 20 of our VIP customers were lucky to secure free tickets and were treated to exclusive Sanguine tastings on arrival followed by an evening of what can only be described as some of the most beautiful music.

This Queens Birthday long weekend we opened our cellar door for what turned out to be an extremley popular 3 days of fun (and sun) with Cellar Door Tastings, Winery Tours, and the rare opportunity to participate in Progeny Shiraz Vertical tastings.

 

With such overwhelming support from our customers we look forward to making this annual event even bigger next year! Thank you to all our customers who made the effort to drop in and visit us - you'll know next year where to head for good wine, good service (and heated floors!)
